Masala Mix is a question-and-answer card game made for desi families. Everyone gets a hand of answer cards, the judge reads a question, and the funniest answer wins.

Expect inside jokes, dramatic aunties, chaotic cousins, and nostalgia from every family gathering, all wrapped into one game night.

Everyone is dealt 6 answer cards. No need to think up your own answers, they’re all in the box.

One person (the judge) reads a question card. Everyone else plays the funniest answer from their hand. The judge picks the winner, and the winning player keeps the card.

Draw back up, pass the judge role, and repeat until your stomach hurts from laughing.

3–10 players (or honestly… however many relatives walk into the room).

A round can be as quick as 20–30 minutes, or it can go on for hours if you’re playing with your hyper-competitive cousins.

Yes! Masala Mix has no profanity and no explicit content. It’s made for the whole family, from grandparents to cousins, with enough spice to keep game night fun.

Both games work the same way: one player reads a question card, everyone answers with a card from their hand, and the funniest answer wins.

The difference is that Masala Mix has no profanity or adult content, and the jokes are all about desi life: family, food, festivals and, of course, aunties.

Whether you grew up in it or just know someone who did, the jokes still land.

Some cards are super specific. Some are universal. And somehow, everyone ends up laughing. We’ve even seen non-desi friends win rounds without knowing the reference… which honestly makes it even funnier.

Nope. No trivia, no Bollywood quiz, no dumb charades. It’s a game about growing up brown in America, and the cards do the explaining.

Whether you’re fluent in desi culture or still figuring it out, you’ll be laughing by the second round.
