We Made the Game We Wish We Had Growing Up
Born and raised in the U.S. to first-gen Indian parents, my childhood was a colorful mix of home-cooked meals, dramatic family dinners, summer trips to India, and an endless stream of unsolicited advice from well-meaning aunties. At first, I thought it was just my family. Turns out, it’s every family.
My brother and I couldn’t help but find the whole experience hilariously universal. So, inspired by Cards Against Humanity, we turned our shared chaos into comedy. What started as a few scribbled cards and inside jokes quickly became a hit at every family get-together.
Masala Mix isn’t just about laughs (though there are plenty). It’s about connection — rediscovering family, bonding with friends, and realizing you all grew up with the same uncles, birthday chaos, and “just one more bite.”
You’ll leave knowing each other a little better… and probably quoting your favorite cards for days.
