We Made the Game We Wish We Had Growing Up
Born and raised in the U.S. to first-gen Indian parents, my childhood was a colorful mix of home-cooked meals, dramatic family dinners, summer trips to India, and an endless stream of unsolicited advice from well-meaning aunties. At first, I thought it was just my family. Turns out — it’s every family.
My brother and I couldn’t help but find the whole experience hilariously universal. So, inspired by Cards Against Humanity, we turned our shared chaos into comedy. What started as a few scribbled cards and inside jokes quickly became a hit at every family get-together.
Masala Mix isn’t just about laughs (though there are plenty). It’s about connection — rediscovering family, bonding with friends, and realizing you all grew up with the same uncles, the same airport goodbyes, and the same “just one more bite.”
You’ll leave knowing each other a little better… and probably quoting your favorite cards for days.
